I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which practice test to take first? AAMC 3-8, or TPR A-D? Maybe it shouldn't matter, but thought I'd ask to see everyone else's thought on this. Thanks!!

See if you can leave 7 & 8 till the end. They seem to be closest to the current administrations.

Save the 7 and 8 for the last. They most closely resemble the current exam, (8 was the exact same score I had on the real thing, same breakdown and everything). You can try doing the TPR exams if you want but be aware that the science portions are ridiculous, so you might wind up having your butt kicked on those. But they are good practice. Best of luck.

My suggestions:

If you are just starting your tests now for the April exam, it might be worth it to just stick with all the AAMC tests.

However, if you are taking it in august, and have time for more tests, I'd recommend using Kaplan full lengths and then moving on to AAMC full lengths.

Or if you use TPR exams, use their 4911, 4921, 4931, etc. Their test A-D are the hardest material they have and generally crush a lot of people. The test centers here don't even advocate giving them out because they feel they crush the students confidence too much.

Oh, I was wondering what the difference was between the numbered TPR tests and A-D. Thanks so much, that's good to know!
