2 quick questions about army hpsp

first off...

for the peer reference, can it be from a good friend or does it have to be from someone you've taken a class with?

second, with regards to residency and hpsp, are you eligible for a civilian residency afterwards, or is it strictly army?

For the peer reference are you referring to the personal reference section in the AMEDD app? I think it can be friends cause it lets you X friends.

For army residency you are only allowed to do military programs. No civilian programs, though Navy/AF lets you do it I believe.
