which one is easier? i know of course it depends on outside schedule too but generally speaking?

how about taking one science course at a semester institution and the other at a quarter?

thanks

From my experiences on both systems, most things are easier on semester systems. Though you can cover a lot more ground in quarter systems once you get used to the pace.

Taking one at each just would be a bit annoying since you're taking something at a 10-wk pace vs a 15-16 wk pace. Pick one system and adjust your study schedule accordingly - no point in introducing more hoops to jump through than necessary.

I've found that it's easier on a semester system to recover from falling behind on course material. The faster pace of a quarter system can be especially punishing if you fall behind.
