2 yr AEGD vs 1 yr AEGD Clinical Skills

Was wondering if there were significant differences in clinical skills between 2 year AEGD vs 1 year AEGD grads who wanted to do private practice after AD obligation. Particularly in the Army. I heard that the thing about the 2 year AEGD was that its a lot more lectures so the clinical experience may be more similar.

Yes that is some what true. But with two year youll be more literature read/ AGD ready / treatment plan continuity so that you get to do more complex and a wider variety of procedures. That is the benefit of the 2yr aegd (doing limited ortho, full mouth rehabs digital dentistry etc) that way you could truly become independent
