Hey guys,

Question 80s answer states that the bond angle is 120 degrees. How is this possible? I assumed the carbon was sp3 hybridized, making it 109.5. I understand that resonance could occur, but would this make the bond 120 degrees?

If so, does that mean any carbon next to a double bond is at 120 degrees?

Maybe I'm just making a dumb mistake, but it's bugging me. Also, sorry about the crappy photo quality, my phone broke a week ago and I'm waiting until after my test to fix it (blessing in disguise?)

You're right. That test is riddled with errors. There's an error sheet on here floating around somewhere if you search for it.
