A few schools have made some changes in how they view CC/AP credits. There are 8 schools that do not accept CC courses for prerequisites and 3 that do not accept courses for electives. Twenty five schools do not accept AP credit for prerequisites and 12 do not accept credit for electives. About 1/3 of the ds either recommend no CC courses or qualify the need to take additional upper division courses as a countermeasure. About 2/3 of the schools have some limitations on acceptance of AP credits. It is best to take basic science courses that are designed for science/engineering/pre health students (except nursing, dh) at a four-year college or, when there is no other choice, take courses that are transferable to a four-year college. Not much needs to be said about AP courses.
