I figured I'd start this thread for all the I6 applicants this year. Welcome!!
I believer there are 26 I-6 programs. I've applied to 19 of them. In addition, I also applied to 10 General Surgery programs,
Good that sounds reasonable. From what I've heard even people applying for traditional fellowships this year and next are freaking out at the rate those are disappearingYep, applied to a bunch of General Surgery programs as well, focusing on academic programs where I would be well set up to match into traditional CT fellowships afterwards. Although who knows how many of those will be left 6 years from now...
Yea, I'm starting to worry I got pegged as a CT candidate too much in my general surgery application, based on all the first wave invites I've seen go out.Yea, same here. A bit quiet on the general surgery front. I know my gen surg LOR mentioned my interest in CT surgery. Wondering if that was a bad idea.
I got an e-mail offering the 1/10 date, but they also said they could work with my schedule if that date doesn't work, FWIW.Stanford's email said they're interviewing this year on 12/13. Are they offering 1/10 if you can't make the 12/13 or is that an entirely different batch?
