Generally, MCAT scores are valid for 3 years before start of matriculation. Which means 2016 MCAT would be expired for the upcoming cycle as you'll be matriculating in 2020. However, some schools may have different requirements as to how long MCAT scores are valid, so you should get the MSAR and look into their policies.
Thank you! I attended the virtual AAMC fair recently and it looks like most schools I am hoping to apply to only accept new scores. I'll look further into it on MSAR this year just in case as well.
