No calls yet ?
Nada. I thought they said we would hear back early in the week but I guess they got busy. Hopefully a call, and not an email, comes through tomorrow though!!!
I was assuming they probably wouldn’t call tomorrow since I’m sure they are interviewing again. Might have to wait until next week ....
The calls will come out today. My magic 8 ball never steers me wrong!
I hope your right! Currently sitting in the hurricane so hoping that I don’t lose cellular signal and miss the call haha
Stay safe, I'll post if I hear back today!
ACCEPTED!!! Got the call at 10:20 central time.
Did you interview 9/7?
Also accepted!!! Interviewed 9/7
Yes, intereviewed 9/7!
II! Complete 8/30
Congrats!! what were your stats?
For those of you that went to interview at the beginning of the month. Any hotel recommendations?
Comfort Inn is a mile from the school and there is a shuttle that will take you back and forth
Thank you! cGPA: 3.81 sGPA: 3.70 MCAT: 499. FL resident
Did you schedule your interview already? I was pretty disappointed to see that there were no slots left before December . Were you able to schedule an earlier date?
Me too I scheduled my interview for 12/14.
Don't stress to much about your date! I interviewed end of January and more than 75% of my group was accepted
Interview invite today! Completed on 8/30. Only dates left open are 12/14 and 12/17
Ivy league grad, MCAT 502, cGPA 3.4 sGPA 3.2
+1 on this question. Would be nice to get in earlier for interview.
I submitted my primary on the 7th and haven't received a secondary yet. Should I be concerned?
Does anyone know what the odds of getting an interview are after receiving the "no interview now but maybe later" email?
+1. In the same boat and want to know. I think ACOM don't send out rejections yet but rather put people on hold. But no rejection means there's hope!
I got put on pre-II hold too but I see it as a rejection.. May be I am being too harsh??? there must be something in my application they didn't like, why would they go back and look at it again?
What’s the average time to hear back after an interview these days?
Interviewed 8/31 heard back 09/06.
I submitted my primary a couple weeks ago and did not receive a secondary from them until yesterday when I emailed them asking whether or not I met the criteria for a secondary...they sent me a link to the secondary 10 minutes later.
3.0 sgpa and 3.2 cgpa. 501 MCAT. Scribe for 2 years with over 4000 clinical hours. ~1000 hours of biomedical research with multiple presentations. Several volunteer hours and a lot of ECs. What do you guys think? I just submitted my secondary last night. My gpa is killing me...
I got an interview in late July with lower GPAs and similar MCAT but I’m URM and military with a metric **** ton of clinical experience. If anything hurts you I think it will be timing, being complete later in the cycle.
Has anyone who received an II was previous on hold? Wondering whether they have been offering IIs to those who are on hold.
Take it for what its worth but we have the same MCAT, my GPA was 3.6, and you have a lot more clinical experience than me, and i have zero clinical research and im URM. I was accepted to ACOM. If anything getting your app in later might hurt you but I still think you have a shot.
Does anyone know if ACOM does interview feedback if you get waitlisted? I think I remember them saying that but I can't remember who to talk to
For those who got accepted or are current students.. What is your favorite thing about the school? Why did you end up choosing it overs?
Anyone who has already interviewed and chose to drive from ATL to Dothan, how was the drive? I’ll be flying in tomorrow and making that drive lol
I’m driving from Birmingham to Dothan around noon today if anyone needs a last minute ride. I’m also down to get dinner if anyone is interested.
I live in Atlanta and drove down through Columbus and opelika. Drive was smooth not much traffic but I got a flat tire so that was fun. Just give yourself plenty of extra time in case car trouble strikes and make sure your gassed up cause there are long stretches without a station.
I thought Mr. Willis said that he would give us feedback if we were waitlisted or rejected but I emailed him a week ago and still haven't heard back. I am not sure if I misunderstood him or if he is really busy and just hasn't gotten back to me yet.
Anyone received an email saying" You have not been selected for an interview at the moment but your application will remain active and we accept updates"? Would this be considered a rejection?

it is a hold. They will revisit your application over the cycle. I called and asked about it.. he said the first 3 months they take top candidates and then move to less competitive candidates. right now they're offering interviews to 503+ (roughly ). It isn't necessarily a rejection
I was accepted in mid August and my MCAT is below 503. There are a lot of factors that go into interview and acceptance decisions!
That is just what mr. willis told me
That's helpful, and there's obviously more that they look at. I have a 503 but on hold. I do like that they let you know the general way they do things.
