have they sent any rejections for pre-II? or is it done silently
I'm a M2 here, so I don't have experience with their rejection policies.
But as far as I remember from past years threads, they do send out some rejections as they go, but then the rest at the end.
I understand that I shouldn’t be guaranteed anything (although an II would be nice) but I’m under the impression my application has not even been reviewed yet, which sort of defeats the purpose of turning it in right away. Even if it is just going to be a flat out rejection, I don’t see the point of RFU not getting back to me while they’re looking at other applicants who may have turned everything in a month later.
If they send you a rejection now, they can't send you an II later.
So perhaps you're in the maybe pile, and those folks who were a month later are in the yes pile, so they're getting interviewed first because they had better apps. You can still get an II, it would just come later.
This isn't a linear process and its not a zero sum game. Your stuff is in, you got your complete email. All you can do now is wait, hope, go about the rest of your life, and proactively continue to improve your app.
No I have not
Got the R
+1, post-II. Not too upset but still disappointed. Good luck to everyone else!!
R just now, interviewed 9/28. kinda bummed, but glad they finally got a decision out. long mf wait that was
+2 They just put the R in Rosalind
Good luck to the rest of yall!

Interviewed today. Not sure if I'll be seeing the A, but it was honestly the most enjoyable interview I've had so far.
Interviewed 10/12 and haven't heard anything
Just got II, very surprised as i was complete in august

OOS, LM 68.5 ORM
Woot OOS and ORM! Congrats. I was complete in September... hopefully I hear something soon
hey all. just got an II today but not planning to attend. Just wanted to say they are scheduling for January and February right now. (plus a December 6th slot LOL, hope someone out there can make it in 3 days notice)
Good luck everyone!!
Complete date if i may ask?
Ahaha Dec 6th slot is a very short notice. Hopefully someone who is instate would be able to attend that one.
I would loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee that Dec 6 slot
I think August 6th. That's the date I got an email saying "Your application file is complete"
Gotcha. Thank you!
has anyone talked to admissions about when decisions post II will come out?
There seems to have been a number of post interview decisions that came out on friday according to this thread
II Today, completed 7/18
Already accepted to Loyola, interviewing at Rush this week
The earliest date is January 8th
Your girl is too too too poor to fly to Chicago for the 3rd time from Cali...
Hope it goes to one of you!!
Congrats on your acceptance! Best wishes for your interview at Rush!
Howd you get 3 II to greater Chicago-land schools lol, congrats
I have no clue. I guess I need to thank the many-faced god for its blessing.
Turning down my II! Good luck everyone hoping to go here!
They might as well give you residency in chicago
So many withdraws . :0 I guess this is the time of the application cycle where we'll see more interview spots open?
Probably, and im thinking (could be wrong) that with a lot of people withdrawing both pre and post interviewing, those individuals that have interviewed already may be given an acceptance offer sooner than later
Have you received IIs at other places so far? Looks like we both were complete late here :/
I completed at most of my schools end of August and early september ahaha.
Accepted at 1 DO school. 2 more II from DOs. 1 MD II.
I'm so stressed because I really want to attend an MD.
Sometimes I think about wanting to smack myself for not applying earlier lol.
Is the MD II at a state school?
Nope, I wish. It's OOS school. I'm from NY.... no state preference here fml.
Do you happen to be IS?
Sorry for bombarding you with questions. Trying to figure out where Rosy is at
Knock it off. You won't figure anything real out this way.
1- SDN posters are way too small of a sample size to give you meaningful info.
2- even if there were enough posters to truly representative of the applicant pool, it still wouldn't tell you anything meaningful.
3- this is a private school. IS vs OOS means nothing to admissions.
4- quality of the app >>>> timing of the app for determining if/when someone will get an II, and that's not info you're gonna find out here.
Take a xanax or go to the gym or have a beer. Don't chase meaningless details and create more anxiety for yourself.
