3.46oGPA, 3.39sGPA, 506 mcat, strong clinical experience, good letters (from what other schools I interviewed at told me), upward trend, Nj resident
3 other interviews relatively early in the cycle
    Complete 7/10

Do I have a shot at this point if I haven’t heard back?

I might just email them to make sure, would suck if it wasn't complete since it was 3 months ago

To those asking if they still have a shot: this school interviews till April, so yes, if you haven't heard yet you still could get an II. I applied early in my cycle and didn't hear from the school till late January. You may end up interviewing for a spot on the waitlist, but you likely haven't been completely rejected till ~March.

can anyone recommend resources to learn about how to optimally pay for medical school by way of loan? federal loans vs private, how to navigate interest rates, etc?

Only after I had my interview. They know you're interested since you applied, only send them an email if there's something you've done in the intervening period that's worth mentioning (new grades, a publication, an interesting volunteer experience, etc). A "letter of interest" doesn't mean much to them prior to an interview invite.

Read this: https://students-residents.aamc.org/financial-aid/article/direct-loans-101/ and shoot the financial advisors of the school an email. Their job is literally to help guide students through this ****, don't neglect the obvious resources provided to you.

Also do not get private loans. Their interest rates are ludicrous, if you're frugal you should be able to cover everything with govt loans.

If it means the school getting paid, you can be sure that it will come as soon as it is ready. Until then, just get the FAFSA done and keep in mind the costs of attendance and what you think you’ll need to live, and start preparing if you have not already.

If you ask the school they may give you a timeframe, but they will definitely tell you that you will receive plenty of clear emails from your campus FA person when the time does come.

Interview invite about 2 days ago. Set up for Jan 29.

also worth noting: admission staff was super super nice. They called me and let me know that my transcript didn't include my AP credits (only listed as "23 transferred credits") and therefore didn't show that I have credits for APchem. They said they were reviewing my application at that very second and were really impressed with my application. They wanted to call me because were considering sending me an interview invite pending evidence that I got credit for it. Gave me step by step instructions on how to get that information from the registrar's office and provided me with all the appropriate contact info. Low and behold, a week later I got an interview invite.

10/23 interview hoping to hear back this week before the 14th. This schools 100% match rate is extremely sexy and enticing.

Does anyone know if the Fitness Center at the OW campus is the only designated place to exercise on campus? Like is there another building with exercise/weight lifting equipment? I was looking at the virtual tour, and the Fitness Center looked pretty small.

I believe on my tour, one of the second year students mentioned that DO students would have access to a larger fitness center normally reserved for health profession students.

They know a lot of people have deposits due this week, would be a real dick move to release them next week. Then again DO schools dont really give af when it comes to saving people money.

Just a theory here so take it with a grain of salt, but they will probably wait until after the 13th (final deposit date from last rounds acceptances) until they release their admissions decisions for the next batch. Probably just so they don't over/under accept students and can stay on track with their projected number of matriculants per total acceptance rate. Try not to get overly anxious about a decision notification. I had to wait 9 weeks for mine and the decision came after 5pm on a workday.
