December 7th interview slot opened up for anyone trying to schedule/reschedule
Anyone else unable to find a student host?
Where did you stay instead?
November is almost over feinberg pls tell us anything
any hotel suggestions near Northwestern? Air BnB anyone?
I stayed at the Inn of Chicago. Decent room and rates and about a ten minute walk from the admissions building.
If anyone is interviewing on Dec. 5th and needs a place to stay, you're welcome to stay at my place. I'm interviewing on the 5th as well and will be driving to NU anyway so you wouldn't have to worry about transportation. I can send you the airbnb link to my house if you're interested.
Merry Feinberg Eve everyone!! May tomorrow bring the gift of many acceptances!
So what's the likelihood we'll hear back from Feinberg today??
50/50... Either we do or we don’t
II just now! Complete 09/05
No word at all...
so it’s really gonna be like this huh
Congrats!! Could I ask IS or OOS and
OOS LM: 72 WARS: 85
Accepted just now via email!
ACCEPTED JUST NOW. So grateful!
Edit 1: This school absolutely nailed their interview day btw, felt the need to mention that. It was fantastic
Edit 2: Making this edit for next year's applicants looking through this thread for more information on when they release acceptances. They originally intended to release an "accepted/deferred" email mid-November, but there was a technical issue. On Nov. 30th at 7/6PM EST/CST, they sent out the emails. The stat I remember hearing is that less than 1/3rd of the accepted applicants receive their acceptance in the first wave (the rest receiving them in February and so-forth off the waitlist)
ACCEPTED just got email!!
Deferred, October interview. RIP
Got in just now!
Deferred, October interview. Did they say a majority get deferred to Feb. or am i remembering that wrong?
Deferred, 9/28 interview
Accepted! Congrats everyone.
Accepted exactly at 6 pm central time! So excited!
accepted as well. woo! they did say a majority get deferred in response to above comment
Accepted! Interviewed 9/28. In literal shock. Also I definitely sent thank you emails to my interviewers after this interview, so I'm glad they didn't decide to reject me based on not following instructions.
current student here - you're correct! most of the class is deferred to February, including me. I counted myself out after getting deferred in Nov and having lower scores than the class average (I was devastated because it was my favorite interview!), so don't count yourself out!
Accepted as well! Early September interview.
Accepted!! Interviewed early sept
Accepted!! Interviewed late October.
Accepted!! I am liiiitttt!
See y'all at second look
Accepted as well! Got delayed at my layover, checked my email to find this nice little surprise.. time to get celebratory drinks at the T.G.I. Friday’s! Interviewed late September
so when we "accept" the spot, it is not binding right? im confused because what i am signing to makes it seem i will be attending 100%
Accepting an offer is not binding unless it is ED. In this case, you are saying you have intent to enroll (ie, you’re still interested in the school). This only becomes binding when you narrow down to 1 school in April.
Also deferred until February, congrats to those accepted!
Wow this is like the biggest wave of acceptances I've seen all at once on any thread lol
Heyo! Can anyone clarify what the differences are between how the group interview, panel interview, and 2 30 min one on one interviews work? I'm confused as to which parts are done with multiple other interviewees vs multiple interviewers.
No panel interview, no multiple interviewers. The group interview is done with another interviewee. The entire day is very relaxed.
I was in holistic review for a few months and was offered an interview about a week and a half ago, so anything is possible!
Congratulations on your acceptance! I hope you are ecstatic!!
Would it be okay for me to PM you? (or you to PM me...I think your profile is on private)
Do they send pre-interview rejections or is it silent? I've been in holistic review for months
It's silent rejections, but also doesn't hurt to send in an update on what you're doing/reaffirmation of your interest in the school at this point in the cycle since they're still extending out IIs. Was & know a lot of other people who were in a similar situation but sent in an update and then were extended an invite
Anyone who interviewed mid-November heard back yet? I'm not sure if people with November interviews will automatically not hear anything until February or if we could hear in December/ January?
Does Feinberg really have a 70%+ post II acceptance rate?
Sent from my iPad using SDN mobile
Pretty sure they have 2 big A waves. One that just happened and another in Feb. Best of luck.
