I’ll PM you or you can PM me.
Anyone who has been rejected post II did you receive any updates to your portal? Mine reverted back to all of the bullets for requirements, just wanted to see if this is a silent R. Thanks
Can we bring luggage to the interview?
Yes, there is plenty of room to store luggage in the admissions office waiting area.
Is anyone going to the open house next week (11/7)?
Might not even mean anything but if you're rejected I assume you'll get mail. Silent rejections at PCOM seem to be for people that didn't receive an interview invite.
Is there anything we need to do after paying our deposit online?
Edit: I meant the admissions deposit once offered a seat
Just make sure that the dates on the portal are filled in within 15 business days, nothing else to do on your part, they'll email you with an II if applicable.
(Edit: read original post wrong, was referring to secondary fee)
Sorry, I meant once you pay the admissions deposit post acceptance
Oh, my apologies! Completely read that wrong. I am not sure as I haven't yet paid mine- sorry about that!
I'm also wondering this. Do we just pay the 250$ now and wait until further communication if we're definetly attending?
Pretty much. There’s another deposit due somewhere down the line I believe it’s due in April.
Any one know if there will be dedicated board time and a pass/fail grading system starting next year?
I think during my tour, they said something about pass/fail but I cannot remember. Also, wondering if anyone heard anything about the board study time. Thanks!
Anyone else interviewing tomorrow, 11/2?! I'll see you guys there!
I'll be there, the black kid from Delaware
Is there a way to pull up the secondary, I wanted to review my essays but I can't seem to find it
I’ll see you there! I’m the girl from Cleveland
Nope I was wondering this as well. I just checked and thankfully have the answers saved to a Word file on my laptop.
I have been complete since early September and still nothing, does anyone know if this school does silent rejections?
Just search this thread. That’s been discussed 10,000 times
Is there an accepted students page or anything that could direct me toward housing in the area and things of that nature?
When was your interview?
I second this question!
I was accepted on Monday, and prior to this my portal showed all the bullets of the requirements! I dont think I checked it before the interview, but after the interview that's what it looked like until I got the acceptance in the mail. Hope that helps!
do you mind sharing your stats??
504 MCAT, 3.95 gpa, in state. Complete 8/27, ll 9/14 and interview 10/08!
Congrats! When were you complete?
I'm not sure my actual complete date because there was an issue with one of my LOR and I had to go through this whole process to have it accepted and that was happening in September. So, I would guess my complete date was late September.
I had a similar experience. Fair questions, but no reaction which made it hard to turn into a human conversation. I felt like I could have just responded as well had I written essay responses. I think that's just his style/intensity, but it really caught me off guard and I was disappointed that since it made me really nervous I wasn't 100% on my game. It is what it is, up to them/the universe now. I'm still really excited about this school--it's my top choice.
So for reasons I don’t want to derail the thread with, I’m going to end up applying to DO schools in the next week. Is it too late to apply to PCOM? I saw a thread where people said November and early December were okay, but that just seems so late because I’ve really only been reading about the allo cycle.
Do it ASAP
It's not too late for DO at all. In fact, if you have low stats, it's the perfect time.

I have a good MCAT score, but my cGPA is less than stellar. So rock on.
What date will you be interviewing?
Had my interview yesterday! I definitely got grilled pretty hard on my withdrawal’s from undergrad. Hoping I made a good enough case for myself. Good luck everyone!

I have 26 Ws from 10-15 years ago. Preparing myself for an onslaught of grilling should I get an II.
It depends, I had 10 Ws spread throughout my undergrad and it didn't get brought up at all
sorry if theres been a lot of these posts already but is it too late to apply here? I already submitted a few DO apps but I want to apply to a few more. thanks!
Hello, has anyone else gotten the following error message:
"Select the relationship that best matches your legacy connection to PCOM: At least one value must be selected."
I filled out the entire form, but it is not allowing me to submit it because of this error. I am not sure why the error is popping up.
Hi! I went to the open house yesterday and spoke with someone from admissions and they explained where they are right now in this application cycle. So if you're going to apply, submit your application like TODAY, lol. Since you've already applied to other DO schools, you're (hopefully) already verified. So I would submit that today, pre-write the secondary essay, and submit your supplemental as soon as you get it!
can you elaborate on what they told you as far as "where they are right now in this application cycle" ?
If there are any current students in this thread, can you please refresh me on whether the lectures are mandatory/recorded? I know this was mentioned on interview day but after a few school visits they all seem to mesh together. Thanks in advance.
I just had my interview yesterday. Lectures are recorded and are not mandatory for the most part (with the exception of OMM classes). There are some occasional days that are mandatory for lecture, such as when patients come in to talk about their conditions
in the exact same boat just applied to 4 schools lol
II on 12/10! Super pumped since I live close. This will be the first interview that only costs gas money lol. Awesome physicians come from here though, really excited to be considered
congrats! complete date?
