I know a bunch of people who got them today (partly because a few rejection letters went out to some of those on the waitlist today 🙁 )
 
Got my secondary today and submitted it too. Let's hope for a better cycle this time
 
Is anyone using AP credit to fulfill a prereq - how are you finding the documentation? When I log into my AP account, it doesn't show anything anymore 🙁

It has to be be documented on you college transcripts

EDIT: If anyone else needs this information- I just called the admissions office and they want the actual scores from collegeboard (you have to send a request for archived scores if it's been at least 4 years, which will take about 2 weeks and $25) and the admissions office said to go ahead and submit the secondary without the AP score documentation and then just email them the scores when you receive them!
 
I'm OOS and received a secondary today! Actually was sent the email 3 times haha

This sounds off, who did you talk to? Ms. Pamela? Dr. Wheeler?
 
Can anyone please send the prompts? I'm OOS and still haven't received the secondary yet. I want to start prewriting them.

I'm wondering about this too. I haven't received an complete email either...

I was thinking you could use this to explain an upward trend or a rough semester, etc. I personally talked about how I think my college record reflects the hard work I have put in and qualities that have allowed me to be successful in managing academics and athletics (student athlete).
 
Q: Why are you pursuing a M.D.? Discuss briefly why you have decided to pursue a M.D. degree program.
so why MD over DO programs or why do I want to be a physician?

I got a confirmation email this morning! "This is to notify you that your Secondary Application with the University of Louisville School of Medicine is now complete. Applicants with completed Secondary Applications are placed in the pool for possible interview. Should you be selected for an interview, you will be notified by email."
 
Are people actually filling out the optional questions? I think most of the information they will already see on my AMCAS application so I am unsure why I have to write it out again?
 
Anyone get an email confirmation with their interview date/time?

3.77 cGPA 3.74 science.
2,500 hours scribing
300 hours volunteering in a neonatal intensive care unit

Congrats and best of luck in the interview my friend! When did you submit? I am OOS as well and am looking to gauge when to start obsessively refreshing my email!

I submitted 15 July. I have pretty strong ties to KY though, my dad and his side of the family live there.

Ah, I submitted a bit later, but I will keep my fingers crossed! I was born and raised in Louisville myself, lovely little city, congrats again!
 
Verified 6/24 but no secondary. Got some ties to Louisville with some family living there and visited up there growing up. Anyone else verified around that time but still no secondary?

I was verified 7/18 and finally received the secondary today (actually received 4 invites lol). So hopefully yours is coming too. I have no ties to the area but I live in VA and they seem to favor OOS candidates from neighboring states
 
Anyone know if they do a pre-secondary screen?
