No, she hasn't. when was your interview?

My interview was Feb 9th. I emailed her after I found out about the waitlist in March & she said I have a good chance of coming off the waitlist, but she didn't have numbers yet. It could be weeks or MONTHS she said T__T

Hey guys just an update. I am currently in the MBA program as well and if you are in need of a roommate for the start of classes in July I have a room available. Message me if interested! The only thing you will need to move is your bedroom furniture and bathroom stuff otherwise I have everything

Hi there,
When was your interview? were you originally on waitlist?

Has anyone gotten any updates for the financial aid for this August 2016 matriculation? I submitted all forms and I've been checking my financial aid from that website Roseman had given us to view our financial aid but nothing has turned up.

Hey Guys! Good luck to the people that are still waiting and congrats to those that have been accepted. I am currently a P2 at Roseman. If there are any questions you guys want to ask, like organizations or opportunities that the school offers, please feel free to contact me. If you are not from the area and have questions about places to go or live I can answer that for you as well. I will be doing my entire year of APPE rotations at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, so if you are looking for a room I have one that I will be renting out as well. Good Luck again and keep on keepin' on!

Thanks for the response! Do you happen to know the pay rate of intern pharmacists as well? I was told it is slightly higher than pharmacy technicians.
When I started Roseman, they helped you get your intern license when you started school. as for working as a paid intern, depends on where you work but it can range from $17-$21.

So, do you get pay as IPPE intern in November too or just for APPE?

Thanks for the info! I'm surprised that as a pharmacist intern you can make that much. I do have a question for you if you don't mind. After all the schooling and studying, how many hours do you think a person can work (paid non-school related internship) per week?

As for the room that you have, I assume since your location says "Las Vegas" that it's the Henderson Nevada campus?

You actually don't get paid during IPPE or APPE. Usually after IPPE your P1 year, if your site likes you and they have a paid internship position they'll offer it to you. Then you'll work after school or weekends in addition to your IPPE or APPE. In the state of Nevada, you aren't allowed to get paid for IPPE or APPE hours.

Well, starting my P1 year I was still working full time as a bartender. It was really rough and I was definitely falling behind at school. I think P1 year most people can work about 12 hours a week comfortably without letting their academics slip. If you've worked as an intern before and are familiar with a lot of the drugs I would say maybe a little bit more, if you haven't, like me, if I could do it over again, I would try and focus on school as much as possible. P2 year is a horse of a different colour, because the material is FAR more clinical. I was working about 20 hours as an intern a week which I think is a little too much, especially if you are involved in a lot of organizations. But it really all depends on the individual

As for the room I'm renting out, yes it is in Las Vegas. I bought a house here that's way too big for me a few years back since I was going to UNLV. If you plan on going to the Henderson campus and are interested PM me.

Wow... That sucks. Being broke in first 2 years is definitely not a fun thing. :) Thank you so much for your information.

Hey guys, so I got accepted to the South Jordan campus one. I'm looking for a room to rent for the upcoming class in the Fall. The closer to the school, the better. Anyone here is girl and looking for a roommate as well? Thank you.

Hey guys! Congrats on getting in! I'm currently a P1 at the SoJo campus and found my roommates on here last year and figured I would try again. Anyway I live at Sterling Village apartments and am looking for 2 roommates. I have everything you would need as far as kitchen items and living room items so if you are coming from out of state you wouldn't have to worry about moving any of that. The complex is literally right by school. You could walk or ride a bike. Rent would be about $450 a person not inlcudong utilities I currently have the master bedroom and pay $600. I do have a dog. He's tiny cattle dog/ jack Russell mix. The rooms are available starting August 1st. There is a garage connected to the unit as well. Let me know if you are interested!
Are you still looking for a roommate? I'm interested and would like to know more info. Thank you

Hi ladies, I'm a female from San Jose, CA and looking for female roommate(s) in South Jordan, UT. I got accepted there and will be starting this August 2016. I would also prefer to live close to campus. You can personally message me at: [email protected] and my name is Nhu. :)

Hi guys. My name is Jennifer Nguyen and I'm currently a p2 student at Roseman for pharmacy. I'm from Orange in California. If you guys have any questions then please let me know. I have a room for share whoever interested. I'm currently staying in a 2bedrooms/1bathroom condo so I'm renting out one room to whoever interested. The bathroom is not inside any room so it is easier for us to share. The rent is about $450 (utilities not included). Utilities here in Utah run around $100-200 a month. This condo has washer and dryer. It is about 15-17 mins to Roseman, 13 minutes to Salt Lake City downtown where most good restaurants and places to hang out.

Hey guys! I sent in everything a couple of days ago to assure my seat and they sent me a congratulations letter that is contingent a couple of days ago as well. I just re-viewed the email and it says I need to get the "appropriate" grade on my pre-reqs I still have to complete, which are Ochem 2, Microbio, and Calculus. Does anyone know what "appropriate" means? I know for other pharm schools a C is satisfactory. Can anyone help clarify please? Thanks!

Hi, I did not receive such an email although I was accepted and still have a few classes left to complete. Did they send this to your Roseman email or to the original email you provided? I only received an email with the title "RUCOP Student Enrollment Requirements" which shows mostly health related, criminal & background check and drug screening stuff.

You should email Dawn Benson, the Admissions Specialist at [email protected]

I have a room for share. I'm staying in a 2bed/1bath condo. I will also have a small puppy Australian shepherd this June. The rent is $450 not included utilities. I'm a p2 and will be p3 this coming fall. I have no summer remediation because I have passed all of my exams. I guess if you stay at my place then I can help you with Roseman and also tips you on how to study. Email me if you have any more questions [email protected]IShv7i5walsm881000000000.jpg

Hi! Congrats to all those that have been accepted. :)
I'm planning to apply to Roseman this summer for early decision. I've finished all the pre-reqs and PCAT.
Does anyone have any advice on what makes a strong candidate for this school?

Has anyone gotten any updates for the financial aid for this August 2016 matriculation? I submitted all forms and I've been checking my financial aid from that website Roseman had given us to view our financial aid but nothing has turned up.

I submitted all forms and still haven't received anything too. Have you received anything yet?

@Sgtk100 Specifically, which forms are you referring to? I have received the option to accept/decline financial aid for PharmD and MBA program.

Thanks for the reply. The "Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan Master Promissory Note" and the "Direct Graduate PLUS Loan Master Promissory Note" as well as the other stuff that were asked in the financial aid checklist.

Same. But, when is the last day to accept the loans?

I received an email from the financial aid office a month ago. It had a link to a website which includes my award letter. You can accept/decline or reduce the amount offer there. It also showd the document still needed and has a link attacked to them so you can complet them such as the MPN.

If you did not receive that email yet, I would say contact the financial aid office or may be check your spam folder!

I just got an email saying I'm ranked 51-75 on the waitlist. :/ Does anyone know how high the waitlist number goes up to?

They like local area student, if you are not local, that's not a big deal, but it's a bonus. Review all the questions that they ask that have been posted by previous year students here on SDN to be prepared for the usual questions. They also like to hear something that makes you stand out. I've interviewed quite a few students and you tend to hear the same things over and over again, the students that are the most memorable are the students that have a story or situation that makes them stand out from the crowd, like a life event that changed you. Lots of people have the same PCAT score, GPA, undergrad organizations you join, and reasons they want to go into pharmacy school ("to help people") but your life experience is what sets you apart from everyone else.

-Hope that helps

Depends on which campus and it varies year to year. my year it was in the 100's for the Henderson Campus. And people were accepted up to the 1st day of orientation.
