I kinda fell off the planet for 1 month. Do you guys think it's too late to submit a secondary here?

It’s latefor Tulane as they are already scheduling interviews for Feb BUT if you fit the mission to the T and also have experiences to back it up, it might be worth a shot if funds aren’t an issue!
 
Earlier I posted that it took roughly 1 month from submitting secondary to review and 1.5-2 weeks from review to decision (reject, hold, II). But, it might take even longer now, since they are starting to conduct interviews.

You have to remember that the Admissions Office and Committee has a limited # of staff members, so with the additional duties, everyone has more on their plate. Hang tight!
 
Question! after submitting and paying for the secondary I realized that my LOR under the application status is a red mark but it also says that they have received my LOR. Does it take a long while from when you submit and you get the green mark for LOR?

Call or email the admissions office. Several people here got their secondary a week or two later which is weird and several immediately after primary processed.
 
Just got a complete + under review email, not sure if this will result in anything since they are already interviewing in Feb lol

Secondary submitted 8/25
 
Finally got the under review email this morning. Submitted 7/31 lol almost 2 months
 
I submitted 7/25 but wasn't complete until 8/5 because my MCAT had to be rescheduled....lol COVID really hurt my chances at this school, didn't it? 😆 😢

Hopefully we are reviewed before all the spots run out. In general I know we're early in the cycle, so not as worried about other schools. But with Tulane, historically speaking it seems like we're on the edge in terms of missing the boat..what do you think?

8/3 complete here, also still waiting. It's frustrating since I waited three weeks for them to send me a secondary (primary went out on the first day) and I had to email to get it. Wondering if I'd asked for it a week earlier if I might have been under review by now but alas, it is what it is.

I have the same completion date as you and the same boat! I didn't get my secondary till August even though I submitted my primary July 10th. I don't see how this is our fault and why we are getting penalized for it ;(
 
I had my secondary essays ready on 25th July... for two weeks was wondering why I didn't get my secondary...realized I never added Tulane to primary...submitted on August 6th fml

Sure but that should not stop the review process.
 
Just got an under review email. Does anyone have an update on how many interview spots are left?
 
Hi I am new here, I go tthe secondary on 7/16 and submitted same day, I was marked at under Review on 8/19 and got the "on hold" email today. I skimmed around but with 22 pages in the thread, I'm not sure if its been addressed already. What does on hold really mean? The verbiage in the email was explicit that it wasn't an outright rejection but I am seeing people here say its a soft R lol
 
I am *finally* under review. Complete 7/30, OOS. I think the joy I felt when I got the e-mail was the same I experienced on the day of my first interview invite for med school lol

Been under review since 9/3 so not far off. Still heard nothing. Taking it as a good sign honestly. Better than an R.

Trust what the email says. Needless to say that SDN is a bit more "neurotic".

Hi! yes it's one of each and there's a lot of info they give you which is super helpful
