Does anyone know when the MSTP bioengineering graduate group interviews are typically (or if they have already happened)?

Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with the threads a lot recently. Can any of my scavenger buddies let me know the chances of an II at this point late in the cycle? Based on previous years' data plus any info gathered from their comms. Thanks y'all!*

Latest reported interview on CycleTrack from last year was 1/17

The Dean of the School of Medicine was just announced as the Interim President of the University of Pennsylvania. Lol Have a feeling this may delay things a bit.

Does anyone who interviewed happen to remember what they said about their policy involving letters of intent/continued interest?

Hello hello does anyone have any interview insight here (open file, chill or not etc) 👀 would really love to put my best foot forward tmrw

Both are open file and chill! My faculty interviewer had some challenging questions but nothing too out of the ordinary and mostly we just talked about things I wrote about on my app

Do not worry, this was a top 3 interview this season for me (up there with uchicago and mayo). Student? Awesome. Faculty? Awesome. U have nothing to worry about. It was very very chill and conversational

I just finished my interview for the day. My student interviewer was awesome, and my faculty interviewer was easily my favorite interview out of any—which is saying something because I've had some fun ones.

@toastedbutter

tbh I would take the comments about how Penn's interview is extremely chill with a grain of salt. While most of the interview is conversational, in my experience, it seems like there's a list of standardized questions interviewers have to ask, and some of these questions can be quite difficult if you haven't prepared for them beforehand and have to think on the spot. just a heads up

I'll see if they provide any information on my interview day this Friday. When I got invited, January 12th was the last day they were showing. I'll ask if they have any more interview days scheduled
Hope your interview went well! Did you get a chance to ask about this?
