Out of sheer curiosity to anyone else who received A’s thus far - did you submit your secondary before they changed it to limit which questions you pick and added a character count? Just realized I answered every single question and wrote a novel for each, lol.

KCU does interview sub-500 quite often. I would say 498/499 with an otherwise impressive application will get you an interview

It's based on availability. A lot of "either" applicants get sent to Joplin bc not a ton of people put Joplin as their preference.

Yeah it’s pretty random, no difference between the two in terms of academics/mission

I don’t think there is a trend at all. Applicants who had a pressing reason for being at one campus or another such as family, rural ties, etc. were more likely to go to one campus or another. Honestly I think it’s just where they have seats.

Remember too that when they select a class- they are making a stew. They are selecting a group of people that will go well together- so it’s not always just about each individual applicant, but rather- how the dynamic of the class as a whole looks.

I'd hold off on emailing them. You'll receive something likely on Monday. The instructions are essentially the NDA you have to sign and the schedule for the interview day.

About a 2 day turnaround but I would take any answer to this question with a grain of salt bc everyone’s different and no one knows how they review things. I also submitted way back in July lol

I was thinking about maybe emailing them but checked my "Thank You for Interviewing with Us at KCU!" email and it says: "We want to say thank you so much for interviewing, we appreciate you taking the time to speak with us! Just a reminder, decisions will come at different times so please hold off on inquiring until the 6 week mark."

They said that some of the admissions committee members are out of the office and to email them if I don't hear back by the end of next week. I interviewed 8/16

As far as the email that’s right lol. We didn’t even really get a solely thank you email it was kinda just the post interview survey and thanks for interviewing, nothing about when to reach out at all. During our session they said reach out at 4 weeks but the session before us they said 6. Not sure what the diff is
