Please feel free to tag a pre-medical moderator once the secondary prompt has been posted.

Good luck to everyone applying!

Nope. Looks like first SDN post of secondary being received for last year was June 16, a Friday. Maybe they will start sending them out this week.
Do you know if there are two nova secondaries? Or if its a combined secondary for both campuses?

Received IS secondary 6/20, identical prompts to last year.

1) How did you learn about osteopathic medicine? (no character limit)

2) List and briefly describe your significant health care-related volunteer activities since graduation from high school. (no character limit)

3) If you have ever matriculated into an M.D. or a D.O. program, please explain the reason(s) for leaving. Please use the following format: date, institution, status. If non applicable, please type "none" (no character limit)

4) If you were employed during the regular school year (excluding summers) while in undergraduate or graduate school, please list dates of employment beginning with your current position along with title or job description, level of responsibility, and number of hours per week. (no character limit)

Has anyone received a call that their application is complete?

Strangely I had just come on here to post the exact same question. Nope not yet. My application documents show all of my LOR’s assigned but my transcripts are still “not received”

Yeah I have the same issue, I emailed them but haven’t heard back

Did you get a follow up email immediately after submitting or did you a confirmation several days after saying that your application is now under review?
I got an email the next day after submitting the secondary. However, all my transcripts and LOR were received when I got the invitation.

Are they marked as received in the actual NSU portal under additional documents? Everything I had was received in AACOMAS, but several of us are at a spot in the NSU-specific application portal that shows our LORs as assigned to each category, but the transcripts are marked as "Not received" even though they are in AACOMAS.

Checking that section of the application, my transcripts show as not received as well. However it is weird because I got an email saying: "Thank you for your interest in the  Osteopathic Medicine, Dr of Osteopathic Medicine program at Nova Southeastern University. We have received the documents needed to submit your application for review. Once the review process is complete, you will be notified by the program office." Did you receive that as well?

No, I have not :/ When did you receive that? The most recent I got was the one saying that they need to link my AACOMAS and secondary and if anything is missing or I am ready for review they would call or email me. When did you get that email you shared, and when did you submit your secondary?

Got that email on 6/21 and submitted secondary on 6/20.

For questions 2 and 4 on the secondary, is it bad to just cut down whats in my primary to use for this? seems kind of redundant to list this stuff again....

When you press admission documents, did it just take any 3 random LORs from AACOMAS?

Hi Yall! I am about to start working on Nova Southeastern University KPCOM secondary, and I have a few questions about the character/word limit. The secondary I received from this cycle does not include a character/word limit (assuming No Limit). However, I noticed from last year's cycle that the school provided a character limit for their secondary questions. I guess my two questions are: did anyone receive an NSU secondary, and if so, did y'all get a character count?

I think I replied to you on Reddit lol.

You'll see the limit if you go over. I think someone posted them above though

Has anyone got a call or email yet that their application is ready for review? I think only one person here has so far iirc?

I didn't see an option to put both campuses, but only to choose 1. Anyone have thoughts on which best?

Does anyone's portal still say they are waiting to receiving LORs? Not sure how long it takes for them to be marked as complete but its been over a week so wondering if theres something else i need to do

Mine are marked received, although my transcripts aren’t.

Mine are still showing incomplete on NSU even though they've been submitted to AACOMAS for a few weeks.

For 4)
Do they mean paid employment? Or would I include my volunteer experience? I leaning towards the first and putting none?

Did anyone else get an email from them saying "Based on the information you submitted to the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine (NSUMD), we think that you might want to consider the Master of Biomedical Sciences program offered by our college." Is this just a mass email or did they actually review my application? I don't know if I should look at this as a pre-rejection?

😔 I’m sorry. When did you submit?
