Based on last year's forum, secondaries started to come out around now. Has anyone received anything about their application from PNWU?

This school might run on a later timeline than normal for DO schools.

Current 4th year. Because of the holistic review, it takes longer for the ball to start rolling. You may not hear back for many weeks as they work through all the applications and decide who to send 2nd to. IIRC, the prompt hasn't changed over the past years, so I would suggest pre-writing it and sending it in as soon as you receive the notice to secure a place at the top of the pile.

If you get a secondary here, is that like a guarenteed or really high chance for an interview?

I don't have actual numbers, but I would say that chances are higher than many other schools.

They are mainly sorting for minimal requirements, history of service, and fit (rural, underserved, PNW). It narrows the pool, but it is a very large pool. Iirc, most schools interview around 10-20% of all 2nd applicants and offer a seat to about half of those interviewed.

anyone else receive one? i was verified 6/20 and have not yet received one
 
Does anyone know if all your letters of rec have to be uploaded in order to receive a secondary? My committee letter just got uploaded so wasn't sure if they send secondaries once everything has been received
 
When someone says +1 OOS does that mean they submitted an application from out of state? Or does it mean they received the secondary?

I’ve been interpreting it as receiving one.

OOS +1 but in PNW region and mission-focused

Edit: Submitted the essay, I did size 12 font, Times New Roman, single-spaced, for those who come to this thread later.

same as previous years:

Prompt: Describe personal experiences that have shaped your desire to attend an osteopathic medical school that focuses on addressing rural and/or medically underserved populations and diversity, equity, and inclusion in health care.
 
I just got access to my application status page. However, I don't see anything about secondary questions or paying a fee.

so i got a link to start an applicant page but i don’t see where you submit a secondary! it only shows me my application checklist which consist of primary app, mcat, and transcripts. do u have to wait once you’ve activated the portal to see the secondary?
 
+1 OOS Secondary submitted, it's not listing any of my LORs as being received (or missing) though, does anyone else have them listed out like the image jh0101 posted?
 
i just rechecked and the supplemental form is on there now. i don’t have all the checkmarks like other people tho.
