Is this school still worth applying to with no ties to the NE? I didn't realize how big of an IS bias it has before I submitted my primary.

In a wild turn of events I got the Cooper MD secondary before the aforementioned Mid-June DO secondary lol.

Do they ever send secondaries for this school?

it definitely takes a lot longer than other schools lol. it took me a few months to get my secondary submission reviewed, but once they did I got an interview a week later :)

How has your first-year experience been at ROWANSOM so far?

Do you know how they look at OOS students? Do you think stats help?

Im starting orientation Monday! I've done a lot of the optional events this week - an ice cream social on campus, meet and greet yesterday, and touring the campus. It's been amazing!!! everyone is really friendly and kind and welcoming. also, they give out so much free swag! stratford is so safe and i feel safe walking my dog around. :)

i also really like that rowan is pass/fail, and the PBL track only has 1 test per block, and it's on boards material, so theres no wasting time on lectures + low yield stuff.

stats definitely help. my stats are above average for this school (my mcat is a 511) and i think it definitely helped me get my foot in the door. i think they look for mission fit and knowledge of the school + osteopathic stuff. i know other out of staters here who had like 508 and 507 i think. I also had zero research or clinical jobs.

If I may ask what was your application timeline?

I'd love if they could just send me the secondary instead of all these webinar emails lol. Gets my hopes up every time.

at the webinar today, jenna said secondaries will be here either friday or early week, hope that helps
