where is the red exclamation point on our portal? in status tab?

i submitted 7/24, havent heard anything back besides complete email the same day. no under review email yet, but all i see are green checks, no red exclamation mark. does this mean i’m under review even if i haven’t received the under review email?

Thats from previous cycles there is no red exclamation mark system this cycle, they just havent updated their emails i guess
 
Hey all! Congrats to everyone who have been receiving IIs! For those who have received one, how far out are they scheduling interviews? Also, what was the most recent available date? Thanks!
 
Anyone under review on 8/29 and gotten an interview invite yet or heard back at all? I know it's only been 9 days (including a holiday weekend)...

their earliest date was in November

Got an II 9/06, the earliest date I got was 10/29
 
I submitted my secondary 7/29 but nothing since then. Does anyone know if it looks like they’re going through secondaries in order of submission date? Or I’m just going to assume silent R, as I may have been too late (submitted primary app late)

7/29 isn't late at all
 
Does anyone know how good a pre-II hold is for Tulane and how likely I will get an interview after the hold ?

I haven't even been under review yet so better than where I am. This early in the cycle I would think it is more likely than not but I can't guarantee that

If you would like submit additional items to your application, you can upload those items to your application portal under, the "User Profile" tab. From there you will select "Document Upload". All items must be in a PDF format. This will be the only way to provide updates to your application."

thank you! so if i got this outdated email template, will there still be an “under review” email?

We would like to inform you that your application is complete. Your portal will have a red exclamation point stating you are in progress and this will remain until you are assigned to a screener. Once assigned, the checkmark will turn green and your application is now considered under review. You will receive another email once a decision is made on your application. We thank you for your continued patience with the application process and we wish you success.

I thought so, I was complete on 7/4 and got this email, but no under review email yet.

in this case, I’ve been under review for almost two months now. I got two emails after submitting my secondary. 😬

hahaha i attribute it to being filtered due to my lower stats but who knows! 🤞🏼
 
Anyone hear anything that was under review 8/29? Trying to see where they are at with everything haha.

the dean of admissions at Tulane recently gave a talk through my undergrad's prehealth advisor! he said that the pre-II hold is NOT a soft R and that they do revisit all of these applications after december. the reason they use it is because they want to make sure they continue to have open interview slots until every application is reviewed. so, it's a "maybe later"! and certainly better than getting a flat-out rejection.

good luck with the rest of your cycle. keep your head up, i know these things can feel demoralizing sometimes.

Based on previous threads, it is rare to be pulled off the II hold list. it only takes one school to make you a doctor. Keep faith in the process and youll be alright.
