Does the response rate get better later in the cycle? I got my secondary just last week and recently submitted. Will I likely have to wait two months to hear any news like the July submitters?
 
any mstp applicants have a red exclamation mark next to faculty selection in their submitted secondary. the secondary told us to select 6 faculty members but now it says 10. does this mean my secondary is incomplete?

Mine says the same but it still says app complete on the status page

Yes, I have this as well. As long as you selected 6 faculty members and your app says it’s complete, I think it should be fine.
 
To those interviewing for JMP: Are you also unable to designate JMP on AMCAS following the instructions they sent? "Joint Medical Program UC B/SF" is greyed out for me in the list of schools on AMCAS.

I have the red exclamation point as well, I originally designated 10 faculty but 6 have been removed and now my list only has 4 names—maybe a good sign?? Anyone else see that their list has been pared down?

Yes, I now see that my list has also been pared down (from 6 to 4 names). Maybe it’s a good sign, but I’m not really sure.
 
Mine pared down from 6 to 3 names. Anyone didn't see red exclamation? If everybody has a red exclamation, it means nothing

Anyone who has interviewed already. Can you tell me when they accept LOI and update letters. I know one was before they send out acceptances and the other was after they sent them out.

LOI should be sent only after being waitlisted while updates can be sent after interviews up to two times

I vibed with one of them really well, we went on for almost an hour and a half. my other interviewer kinda just stopped asking questions after 20 minutes and then we just talked until 40 minutes and ended on the dot. all in all, super conversational
 
I have my pre-interview info session tomorrow, does anyone know if it is camera on / if formal attire is expected? It's during the work day, so I could take the morning off and then work from home if needed, but ideally could attend camera-off at work. Has anyone done theirs yet and can share?

The answer to your question, though, is to take the interview day seriously and give it your full attention for the best outcome.

I believe they are asking about something different. UCSF has an info session on a separate day, which is prior to your interview day.

If they don't specify any dress code for the info session, dress as if it is the interview to play it safe! In my opinion, I'd rather be over-dressed than under-dressed.

Has anybody successfully reached out to the admissions office to ask about a secondary or is that a bad idea? No R from them yet but I'm kinda puzzled because I got one from them relatively early last cycle and also currently working for them now 😅

Does anyone know how spaced apart UCSF opens up new interview dates? The one day they have conflicts with another interview I have 🙁
I emailed them and they said currently only that day is available. Would it be really disadvantageous or be seen badly if I wait until a next day opens up? If anyone has experiences w/ scheduling conflicts please let me know!

I had issues with scheduling and when I emailed they gave me the same response. I decided to wait a few days for new dates to open up and received an email to pick a date asap if I wanted to continue with the admissions process :/

Do you think the other school may have more flexibility in their interview times? Definitely seems like a very difficult situation to navigate..... 🙁

I think possibly, but that school scheduled pretty far in advance and they've already assigned me interview times and interviewers :/// so I feel like it wouldn't be a great look to reschedule 🙁
