Do y'all know if this one of those "optional (but answer it if you value your app)" or "this is truly optional, please don't, we've read enough of your crappy writing" prompts?

For some reason in the portal it says my Letter of References has not been submitted even though my letter packet shows up on the "document received tab" is this the same for anyone else?

mine too! Wondering if I should reach out to admissions or just give it a few days?

Do you guys think it would be fine to talk about being low-income for the first question? Unsure because it mentions racially inclusive.

I applied MSTP but see no additional essay questions. Does anyone know if this is correct?

stupid question but is it UChicago or U Chicago when writing essays? Wanna save words but don't want to conjoin something if it isn't supposed to be conjoined

OOS R! Was such a reach but had to shoot my shot. At least they didn’t lead me on and keep me waiting🥲 good luck everyone!!!

For the third question about a difficult experience would it be a bad idea to talk about an experience that I covered in my personal statement? It's definitely the first thing that pops in my head when I think of this question but I'm not sure if they'd appreciate the redundancy...

What are you all’s LMs? How did you all feel you fit the school’s mission?

LM 70– career changer/non trad with 1.75 years of full time clinical research where I led projects, 1000+ volunteer hours, 4000+ clinical hours. Ivy grad, prestigious post-bacc. Thought I fit the mission to a T— but the cards fall where they fall!

I was completed 7/4. Just waiting for my turn.

You do fit their mission! But LM 70 implies a 3.7/514 or so, which is substantially below their average MCAT.
Yes!!! Super long shot as I said— last year they take someone with a 509, thought maybe I could be the one!
