UCM is one of the top ten most racially inclusive hospitals in the United States with a primary service area of 12 South Side zip codes where poverty is over double the state level. Additionally, our students lead six free clinics in diverse neighborhoods throughout the city of Chicago.
Please share with us the personal and professional experiences that have best prepared you to work in this diverse clinical environment.

For the third question about a difficult experience would it be a bad idea to talk about an experience that I covered in my personal statement? It's definitely the first thing that pops in my head when I think of this question but I'm not sure if they'd appreciate the redundancy...

LM 70– career changer/non trad with 1.75 years of full time clinical research where I led projects, 1000+ volunteer hours, 4000+ clinical hours. Ivy grad, prestigious post-bacc. Thought I fit the mission to a T— but the cards fall where they fall!

You do fit their mission! But LM 70 implies a 3.7/514 or so, which is substantially below their average MCAT.

Yes!!! Super long shot as I said— last year they take someone with a 509, thought maybe I could be the one!
