yeah one of my interviews was a little awkward...it could definitely have been a me issue though :,) but the other two were very conversational and laid back! the interviewers really seemed like they wanted to get to know me

When I interviewed they recommended sending an update, even for any schools throughout the cycle because it shows continued interest in the school!

How important are updates for this school?

From my understanding, updates only make a difference if they are major (pub, big award) or fix a deficit in the application (low volunteer hours, low clinical hours).

With that being said, I don’t think an update would harm your application, so if you want to, I don’t see why you shouldn’t!

You should have received an email a few days ago (mine was 6 days before the interview) titled “Afternoon Block Interviewee Information” (or morning). If you haven’t received this, email admissions ASAP!

For the prior A wave, cycletrack reported 2 acceptances on 10/24 and 4 acceptances on 10/25! Given the expected size of this wave, I think it’s likely there will be a lot more As tomorrow !

My friend, have hope!

- Emory has only sent a single acceptance wave—no one has reported an acceptance from the second wave yet!
- Mayo has only sent a few high rank emails, many more are yet to come!
- We are often poor judges of our own interview performance!
- You have a II at Michigan, which has an 81% post-interview acceptance rate!
- You have an A at UVA—a T30 is not a mid tier!

Even if you don’t hear tomorrow, Chicago claims that most of their acceptances come in the spring
