I graduated from a UC undergrad school 4 years ago with a below 3.0 GPA. I've recently took the MCAT and got a very high score but was unable to apply to med schools because my past low GPA. I wanted to know what other options do I have to compensate for my past mistake. Is getting a 2nd bacc. degree going to help? or grad school?

Thanks..

What was your major, and MCAT score? Why didn't you just apply?

If you did well on MCAT, I suggest you to take post-bac courses. Take several upper level biological science courses and get A in all of them. If you can improve your GPA, your chances will increase.

I can tell you that many people right now in medical school have done the psot-bac curriculum.
Good luck
