Has anyone heard back from either of these two schools, post Jan. 15th? Has anyone been given an interview, denied, or accepted from either school after this date? 😕

Not sure about Marquette, but Pitt won't be handing out letters until after their last interview date on Feb 20 or something. They're going to finish interviewing 3 groups this semester, review all of the applications, and hand out acceptances.

I am also awaiting hopefully an interview from Marquette.

I called Marquette on Tuesday and adcom still hasn't met. They said later this week or early next week for 2nd round acceptances.

Pitt has a total of 6 interview dates per year and they interview around 40 people each date (around 250 total). They run 3 of these in the Fall (pre Dec 1) and three of these in the Spring (post Jan 1 I think). Offers are made after each group of three. The next offers should go out Post Feb 20 which is the final interview date. If you have been invited for an interview definitely go. It’s a great school (you even have the opportunity to become certified in i.v. anesthesia) and a really nice city (safe and cheep)!

what does bump mean? 😕
