2nd year epilepsy fellowship

Hi, everyone, is it possible for fellows to do a second year epilepsy fellowship in a different institution? For example, if I have my interest in MEG, imaging or HFO but current program does not have the capability, how should I pursue them in my second year? Do programs offer 2nd year only position? Do I have to have my own funding to do that? Thanks a lot.

yes, you surely can do a second year in a different institution. As we know the first year is always AEGME accredit. The second year is more personalized. You can just ask or email the place that you want to go.
