2nd year of GPR

If you do one year of GPR at a program that doesn't offer a second year of GPR... Are you able to do a PGY-2 at a different hospital? Or would you be considered a PGY-1 again? Also would you still be considered a chief resident?

Those programs with PGY-2 years usually pick their chief residents from their own PGY-1. Unlikely that you'll be chief coming from another hospital.
