Undergraduate GPA 3.2 (Biochemistry) (Last 2 years of undergrad around 3.4-3.5)
Graduate GPA 3.88 (Master in Health Admin.)
505 MCAT

3 years in research, Full-time lab technician for a medical school
Involved in laboratory and clinical research
Strong letters of recommendation from faculty on admissions committee
Limited shadowing experience (5 days total, three physicians)
Decent E.C. (EMT cert., Volunteer in ER, several volunteer trips)

Finished my 35 credit masters in one year while working full time. Wasn't able to study much for MCAT, so I may retake it and score much better. Any suggestions on how to balance my application? What are my chances?

Where is your state of residence? When are you planning to apply and which schools are you interested in applying to?

I am from Michigan and I will be applying to all schools in-state, as well as a few in Arizona.

Your chances are low for MD schools but you could try Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Oakland Beaumont, Michigan State and Wayne State. If you increase your MCAT to 510 your chances would be 1/3 according to the GPA-MCAT grid. It would be a good idea to apply broadly to at least 12 DO schools and you are competitive for the majority of DO schools. Some schools require a DO LOR.
