          I retook orgo ii and got an A+. Do you think I have a shot at the public NY schools without the postbacc?

          No for Stony Brook;

          Yes for Downstate, Upstate

          Meh for Buffalo

          If you're boning for the mD, I suggest the post-bac/SMP. Otherwise, you're chances are best with the above two, and any DO school.

            30 credits' worth of a solid DIY postbacc with 3.7 or better could make you quite a strong candidate. I don't think you need an SMP; as you are, you are competitive for schools like Albany and NYMC and have a fighting chance at schools like Drexel.
