MD 3.37 sGPA/520 Mcat. Do I have a shot?

Stats: Resident of NY
cGPA: 3.77, sGPA: 3.37
MCAT: 520
Research: 2 summers and 2 full years spent in my lab; 1 publication pending
Hospital Volunteering: 150 hrs (3 years-only semesters that I'm in school)
Shadowing: 140 hours (oncology, adolescent medicine/pediatrician, surgery)
Other Volunteering: 150 hrs (taught dance one summer at a camp that combined dance w/ stem education for low-income girls); three years (unsure about # hours still) teaching science concepts to elementary school aged kids

Yes you have a good chance ... not sure why you would even ask
 
Not anything that can't be addressed by a 30-credit DIY postbacc with 3.7 or better.

I retook orgo ii and got an A+. Do you think I have a shot at the public NY schools without the postbacc?

No for Stony Brook;

Yes for Downstate, Upstate

Meh for Buffalo

If you're boning for the mD, I suggest the post-bac/SMP. Otherwise, you're chances are best with the above two, and any DO school.
 
30 credits' worth of a solid DIY postbacc with 3.7 or better could make you quite a strong candidate. I don't think you need an SMP; as you are, you are competitive for schools like Albany and NYMC and have a fighting chance at schools like Drexel.
