Hi everyone! Thanks for looking at my thread. I'm in a bit of a interesting position and would greatly appreciate insight into a school list.

Stats:
ORM, IL resident
cGPA/BMCP: 3.4/3.4 in Chemistry/Art studies at HYPSM
MCAT: 508 (128/128/126/126)

1 Nature pub, middle author
2000+ hrs research in Chemical Biology
500 hrs of Greek life philanthropy
Summer research fellowships/grants
260 hrs of artistic work in 2-D mixed media
100 hrs of student government
100 hrs of clinical volunteering in the hospital
100 hrs of working with disadvantaged youth in education enrichment programs
100 hrs of being an Orientation leader
100 hrs of playing badminton
200 hrs of medical volunteering abroad
30 hrs shadowing

I just looked up Carle. They are hoping to get accreditation this fall and open applications to have a class for fall 2018. Will try it out if they open up applications

Carle is designed as a misson-based school.
They intend to offer an integrated MD/engineering Master's or PhD for those who have distinguished themselves in engineering and see themselves at the interface between the two disciplines. They are said to be starting with a very small class.

I started out wanting to apply MD/PhD, spent a lot of time doing lab research, but I don't think my GPA/MCAT is competitive so I'm only considering MD. I think Carle is only accepting 25 students. Do you think I would have a chance?
