Hi all,

As stated in the title, I'm a nontrad with a 3.5 cGPA, 509 MCAT, and a lot of EC's (100+ hours shadowing + DO LOR, 6 years working in patient-focused healthcare jobs, patient volunteering ranging from 1 year to nearly 10 years between various institutions).

I may throw my hat in the ring for MD schools one more time (went nowhere last year), but this year I'd like to focus on DO schools. I'm having a hard time narrowing down to a list of ~10 schools that I should apply to. I'm not tied to any region geographically, I just want the best education/clinical rotations vs. location QOL that I can get, probably like everyone else.

Appreciate any suggestions you can give.

DMU, KCU, LECOM (Eerie), CCOM, Western-pomona, rocky vista.

If you do not live in the noertheast, skip UNECOM
If you do not live int he northwest, skip PacNW.

Then listen to the wise Faha.

Thanks to all of you for the responses. Outside of those two schools, are there any other major caveats to other schools that I should be aware of, like regional preferences, schools that want specific experiences, etc?

Thanks again

OHCOm wants you to stay int he state after graduation.

OKCOM, TCOM have regional biases.
Wm Carey was flattened by a tornado earlier this year...don't know how they're coping.
