I'm a resident of NC and I was wondering what my chances are of getting into UNC, ECU, Eastern Virginia, and Wake forest? I'm planning on re-taking my mcat and applying in 2016
-Graduated uncw in 2015
- 300 volunteer hospital hours
- 100 hours shadowing neurosurgeon (clinical and surgery)
-100 hours shadowing trauma ortho surgeon (just surgery)
- president and founder of UNCW Rotaract club
- at least 100 hours of non-medical volunteer work
- 3 months as a patient transporter
- current ECG telemetry technician at a hospital

IMHO, not very good for an MD school with your current statistics. Hopefully you will crush the new MCAT!

It looks like you are a bit lacking in research, any reason why?

Chances are so poor for those schools that I strongly recommend a retake and doing much better before applying. Even CUSOM would reject you.

Ok thank you. What am I missing from my resume? And what score do you think I'd need on my mcat to be competitive?
