Hello people,

Do y'all know what's a good rule of thumb to follow when deciding which schools to apply to? I mean based on the median gpa and mcat. I have MSAR btw. Should I put in my stats and only apply to those schools who's median gpa and mcat match or fall under mine's?

I live in TX so I'm applying to all TX schools but I also plan on applying to OOS MD's and DO's as well.

Here are my stats for reference: MCAT: 509, 512 / cGPA: 3.6, sGPA: 3.5

Thanks!

OOS MD schools interview few Texas applicants with your stats and no connection to the school or state. You could try TCU-UNT and Tulane.
For DO schools I suggest these:
AZCOM
TUNCOM
ATSU-KCOM
KCU-COM
OSU-COM
DMU-COM
MU-COM
ACOM
CUSOM
PCOM
Touro-NY
WCU-COM
