Hi everyone, I am just finishing my AMCAS application and I wanted to see what y'all think about my medical school list. Feel free to add/remove any schools from the list! There are 27 right now and I was thinking about cutting it to 22-25 if possible. I still wanted to leave space for 3-4 dream schools (Michigan, Virginia, Pitt, etc.). Thanks in advance!

1. cGPA: 3.65, sGPA: -3.5 (upward trend)
2. MCAT: 512 (C/P 127, CARS 126, B/B 129, P/S 130)
3. Undergrad: Top 15 institution
4. State of residence: Florida
5. Ethnicity/race: URM (Hispanic/Latino)
6. Clinical Experience: Volunteered at the ER of the local Memorial Hospital for 2 years (approx 100 hours in total).
   -Went to a pilgrimage in Lourdes, France, volunteered in a hospital for a week. (168 hours)
7. Non-clinical volunteering:
   -During my gap year I will be working as a Crisis Text Line volunteer (200+ hours expected).
8. Research: 400+ hours of autoimmune disease benchwork.
9. Shadowing: Shadowing across many specialties (Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, etc.) for approx. 96 hours.
10. Extracurriculars: Served in Hall Government for 1 year as my hall's election commissioner.
    -Also served as my dorm's representative at my university's Student Union

-Worked on a consulting project for Cardinal Health and went to their HQs in Ohio to present our ideas.
-Member of the Puerto Rican Student Association at my university.
11. Honors: Dean's List for both semesters of my Senior year.
12. Other: I participated in 2 competitive Summer programs tailored for pre-med students (both of which involved research and poster presentations).
-I studied abroad in London during the Fall semester of my Junior year as well.
-Fee Assistance Program recipient
