Ok so I have a 3.68 cGPA, 3.551 sGPA, and 33Q MCAT. (upward trend on both GPA's)
And I'm an Over Represented Minority unfortunately
My EC's are:
Clinical Volunteering:
-700-something hours as an EMT-B at local volunteer ambulance squad
Non-clinical Volunteering:
-100-something hours at a housing service for people with HIV
Research:
-Only 1 semester with no publications and no poster presentation
Shadowing:
-50 hours total over 2 doctors - 1 family practice and 1 cardiologist
Work:
-An office job for one summer and doing it again this summer
Other:
-Part of mentoring program at my university - I am assigned a freshman mentee whom I assist with various things for the year
-For 1 semester, was on the editorial review board for a student-run magazine that publishes research papers.
Academic Accomplishments:
-On Dean's List for 2 semesters
-Part of the Honors Program
-Presidential Scholar (though this is determined before actually starting college)
Letter of Recommendation:
-6 letters plus 1 committee letter. Of the 6 (committee letter hasn't been written yet), 2 are probably really strong and the other 4 are decent/good-ish
So what are my chances for a US allopathic school? I am a New Jersey resident btw
