So here's me:
35P (11/10/14) from 9/2010, 37R (14/11/12) from 5/2011
-3.72 cGPA, 3.74 sGPA from a large CA public
-California Resident
-2.5 years research (no publish, 1 presentation)
-80 hours clinical volunteering
->50 hours shadowing (orthopedic surgery)
-Average 30 hours a week as a medical assistant starting Jan 2011 (tons of clinical experience)
-Competitive (obscure) sport with leadership role
-Tons of computer experience (5 programming languages)
-2 Years non-clinical work experience
-1 Leadership position (student gov't related)
Below are the schools I have already applied to:
Yale
Columbia
UCSD
Stanford
UCSF
UCLA
USC (Keck)
Boston U
Georgetown
UC Davis
U Chicago
Cornell
Mt. Sinai
Case
Dartmouth
NYU
Rochester
UC Irvine
MC Wisconsin
I'm looking for a couple more schools to apply to. I'm having trouble picking out schools- I know my GPA and ECs are not stellar, and I'm not sure how far my MCAT will carry me. I'm considering the schools below, based on GPA/MCAT/OOS % and weight of community service:
Harvard, Ohio State, Tufts, Brown, Einstein, Jefferson, Penn State, Possibly more?
Are there other schools that I may have overlooked, or any cool programs that I have missed? Any comments/criticism/general advice will be greatly appreciated!
