I got a 519 (131/126/131/131) and my pre-health advisor keeps telling me that might be an issue. I would also like to hear any advice about low CARS score.

I know, it doesn't make his health advisor any less stupid. A 126 won't hurt anyone with an overall score like that

My recommendation is to delete the schools with median MCAT's similar to your state schools. Use OOS schools with a median of 33 as OOS back ups. Use OOS schools with a median of 35 as "reasonable reaches."

Loma Linda is a mission-based school. Do you fit the mission. Can you thrive under the restrictions?
