Applying in 2018

Lots of clinical experience (2000+ hours), ~400 volunteer hours, 1 year as an undergrad TA, 1 semester of research

I'm applying to all the Texas schools, and I really hope that I can stay here
But which OOS schools should I add to increase my chances of getting accepted somewhere?

Thanks!

You are not competitive for OOS MD schools. You may receive 1 or 2 Texas MD interviews but your MCAT is below the 10th percentile for all schools. I suggest applying broadly to DO schools also and include these:
TCOM
UIWSOM
ATSU-SOMA
ACOM
ARCOM
BCOM
WCU-COM
LMU-DCOM
UP-KYCOM
MU-COM
WVSOM
VCOM (all 3 schools)
NYIT-Arkansas
RVU-Utah

Thanks for the feedback! Should I add the Western University campuses, NOVA, and the other NYIT campus to the list?

You could add those. Your MCAT is below the median but you have a good GPA so you could receive interviews at those schools.
