3.78 cGPA, 505 MCAT (very low CARS), Canadian Average ECs. What are my chances?

Fellow Canadian here, and I apologize that I have to be brutally honest: That CARS is way too low. Your ECs are below average (not average like you said). Howard & Meharry are extremely mission-based. Do you fit their mission? Dartmouth loves (older) non-trad. GW, NYMC, Rosalind Franklin are all low yield due to their extremely high number of applicants. This is what I recommend: wait a year, retake that MCAT to get at least 510 with 126+ on CARS, focus on your ECs, do something that will make you stand-out and not so cookie-cutter. Then apply broadly to at least 25 schools, and you should get in with a bit of luck. As Canadians applying to US schools, you really have to outshine everyone to have a shot, and I just don't see that shine anywhere yet.
