I have a 3.93 overall GPA, and my science is around 3.8. I'm a California resident, and I go to a CalState.
I have a 32Q on the MCAT, with a 9V/12PS/11B. I'm fairly worried about the 9 in verbal, but I don't think I'm going to retake.

Activities:
2 1/2 years of research
150+ hours of volunteering
100+ hours of shadowing
AMSA, and other school clubs

I'm not URM - probably ORM actually...

The schools I'm planning to apply to:

Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Boston University School of Medicine
University of California, Davis School of Medicine
University of California, Irvine College of Medicine
David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA
University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine
University of Colorado, School of Medicine
Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons
University of Connecticut School of Medicine
Creighton University School of Medicine
Dartmouth Medical School
Drexel University College of Medicine
Georgetown University School of Medicine
Harvard Medical School
University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine
University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine
Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
Loma Linda University School of Medicine
Loyola School of Medicine
Mayo Medical School
University of Minnesota Medical School
University of Michigan Medical School
University of Miami School of Medicine
University of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine
New York University
State University of New York at Buffalo
State University of New York Stony Brook
State University of New York Upstate
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
Oregon Health and Science University
University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine
Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine
University of Rochester School of Medicine
Rosalind Franklin
Stanford
Tufts
University of Vermont
University of Washington School of Medicine
Weill Cornell College of Medicine

I'm hoping to eliminate a couple of schools from that list because there are way too many right now!

You can remove Hawai'i (unless you have strong ties), and U Wash because you are Cali resident. Consider the Virginia schools, Tulane, and Albany. I would whittle out a couple of the reachy programs.

I was thinking of cutting out Harvard, Cornell, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, and UPenn. At the same time, I was also thinking of leaving some of the reachy programs in there, just for the faint, absurd hope that I might get into one of them.

Thanks! I'll swap out UWash and Hawai'i for the Virginia Schools.

Yeah I wouldn't retake the MCAT either, but that's the meh part of your app. Combined with your high GPA though, you should be fine. There's nothing wrong with leaving some reach schools, but as a Californian, your state schools are basically reaches. Just pick the ones you are really interested in. U Mich is pretty darn reachy, too...IIRC.

You have a competitive app.

I would also add Univ of Central FL. You have alot of top schools on there too.

I think you need to look down the competitive tree.

There is a link on here somewhere with a spreadsheet that was removed for legal purposes. It will guide you well or get a MSAR book.

Uh yes, I er "did not" find the spreadsheet that violates copyright laws :p
I guess I do have too many "hopefuls" and not enough "go for it" and "high chance" ones...I shall go remedy this.

I know my gpa is pretty high, but I don't know if coming from a state school might affect how schools view my gpa? I'm fairly worried about getting automatically screened out at some schools because I come from a Calstate and not a UC : \
