Even though they are private IS? Is there preference for IS at private schools? At least Hofstra and Einstein...
Even private schools have a higher yield on IS candidates.Even though they are private IS? Is there preference for IS at private schools?
Also, how do you think my chances are for other schools listed?
Your call. Plenty of folks are considered in your stats range.
I'm inclined to disagree with my learned colleague, on the basis (admittedly narrow) that the SDNers I know who got into top schools have tons of volunteering, both clinical and non-clinical. I thus strongly recommend service to others less fortunate than yourself.
But you might try some in a cycle such as something like this:
Stanford or Vandy
Harvard or Yale
U Penn or U Chicago
Cornell or Columbia
NYU or Mt Sinai, etc.
Inquire into the school-specific thread and see if you can get a sense of what current students did in terms of ECs.
Agree 100% with the wise gyngyn that all your state schools should be on the list.

Quick question: Does OP have an advantage at Cornell, NYU, Einstein, and Sinai because he's from NY?Can't comment on MD/PhD, but it looks like a good list. Suggest adding Emory.
