I am a first generation American, Male, Bilingual, parents from Ukraine.
I am a California resident attending a state school.
I will be graduating in 3 years. Will be applying this summer.
Major: Biochemistry

Volunteering:
-100 ICU
-100 in music therapy at the hospital
non-medicine volunteering:
-play bass in church band (5 years) (1000+ hours)
-play saxophone in an orchestra (1000+ hours)
Shadowing:
-50 hours in the ER
Research:
-200 hours in an Ochem lab doing total synthesis (got a summer grant to research)
-ACS analytic chemistry award
Work:
-1 year Advisor: Specifically advised students failing intro chem and math classes in college
-2 years playing in a wedding band (100 hours)
