I am taking the exam in early/mid June.

I took the NBME CBSSA (Form 11) today just to see where I am at. My score was 430 (which apparently corresponds to predicted Step 1 score of 213).

I still have a month and a half left of M2 (just started our final block). I am personally aiming to get at least 240 on the real thing. Do you think this is a reasonable goal for a 3 month time period?

Relax. I'm not sure why schools force these tests on M2s before they enter prep as it's not at all indicative of your final score (granted, if you break 250 you're going to slam Step 1 regardless of what you do during prep time).

More than anything though, use your FIRST diagnostic test as a means of lighting a fire under your ass so you don't get complacement and not as an indication of your anticipated step score. I knew more than a few people who didn't pass their first diagnostic and went on to score average/above average.

I've been wanting to take an NBME for the past week or two for that exact reason. I still have 3-4 organ systems to learn though.

I thought 213 might be a good score given that I have 3 months left to study and haven't even started Uworld or DIT. I was just trying to gauge whether or not my goal of a 240+ is realistic given this score of 213 on NBME with the time-frame I have left.

Scored 215 on school cbsa 35 days before real deal. Started review 6 weeks out. Broke 245.
