3 ophtho letters - too much?

Hi all,

I'm wondering if 3 ophtho letters for my CAS is too much. The thing is, one is from my advisor (essential), and the other 2 are from big wigs that will definately write me good ones.

However, I've heard many times that having a core rotation letter (i.e. surgery or IM) is important. I've also got a good letter from a medicine program director set up too.

So which combination should I go with? 3 ophtho or 2 ophtho plus 1 medicine?

I'm sure you'll be fine with 3 ophtho LOR's. At least you have the "Superstar DJ" gig in case something goes wrong.
