Hi. Can I get some advice on what medical school I should apply to that's good for me?
MCAT 31N V9 P10 B12 WN
GPA 3.83o 3.77s 2/3 of classes were science and 1/3 non science
Had 2 W in the same semester, but it was b/c of medical problems
Also, my MCAT score didn't come out until Oct, so all of my 2nd application was finished this month.
Currently working 40hrs/week near minimal wage w/out any benefits + I have to work on the weekends too. I can't find any time to volunteer, does that hurt me later if I get an interview? Currently doing some research with my science club
Biology Major Graduated last spring suma cum laude
2 years research experience + research honor thesis 250+ hrs no publication
Secretary of Science Club senior year
Pre-health Society 2.5yrs
15 months clinical volunteering at a pediatric clinic 150hrs
2 months Summer shadowing pediatric attending doctor 32hrs
5 days Medical Mission Trip to South America
Phi Beta Kappa member
Experience hardship growing up. We were poor (if that helps)
Mother and father never graduated HS.
Have chronic illness that helped push me into medicine.
LOR
2 sciences very good
1 Non science excellent
1 research excellent
1 Volunteering average
