Just earned EMT B cert this spring, working this summer
2 years in Peace Corps as a physics teacher in West Africa also doing public health work

Co founded microbiology club (and served as secretary), as well as a student services org on campus

Looks good to me except OHSU. I'd drop them unless you're in any of their mission-based groups: http://www.ohsu.edu/xd/education/sc...admissions/academic-and-selection-factors.cfm
Possibly add UCF and USF. USF accepts about 50 OOS in total and UCF is somewhere around 20-30. Also they both only have $30 secondary fees. Well done on the EC's and stats!

Thanks Utenation! A secondary question for all- are there any specific schools that are more “practice-focused” and that tend to look more at the applicant as a whole (as opposed to focusing on numbers alone)? I just want to keep my options open yet narrow it down to more realistic schools.

You mention being a NE resident. Both Louisiana state medical schools do not accept ANY out of state residents unless you have previous family who attended their medical school.
