University of Nebraska B.S. in Biosci
minors- Japanese and Asian Studies
32 MCAT 3.55 cGPA
Clinical experience as a hospice volunteer, shadowing, campus first aid org
Non clinical volunteering at Men's shelter
Just earned EMT B cert this spring, working this summer
2 years in Peace Corps as a physics teacher in West Africa also doing public health work
Tutored in college
Co founded microbiology club (and served as secretary), as well as a student services org on campus

Thanks Utenation! A secondary question for all- are there any specific schools that are more “practice-focused” and that tend to look more at the applicant as a whole (as opposed to focusing on numbers alone)? I just want to keep my options open yet narrow it down to more realistic schools.
 
You mention being a NE resident. Both Louisiana state medical schools do not accept ANY out of state residents unless you have previous family who attended their medical school.
