The scoring system changed in 2003 (scores of 13, 14, and 15 were instated for verbal instead of "13-15"). In 2003 and 2004, the highest scores were 43s. We have several SDNers who achieved that score (QofQuimica, Lorelei, JohnHolmes, R_C_Hutchinson, etc.). Not too sure about 2005. There are a million rumors going around about the highest MCAT scores--if you're dying to know for sure you can try bugging the AAMC.
I'm closing this thread because this is the Pre-Allo forum and this has been discussed on multiple threads in the MCAT forum. And besides, some people will get really testy because they wonder, "Who cares about the highest score?!"
