4th year away rotation in EM, or Pedi EM?

Would it be better to do my away rotation in Pediatric EM, or regular EM? I ultimately hope to go into Pedi EM, but have heard that a rotation in garden-variety EM would be better at this stage in my career. FWIW, I'll also have a rotation in adult EM at my home institution.

Opinion: Normal EM. Pediatric EM will be dominated by Peds trained faculty which may affect your ability to get a SLOR and/or the quality of that SLOR. Beyond that, programs want to know how you're going to perform in EM not Peds EM. The various other flavors of EM are fine as electives but they come into play after you have two vanilla flavored EM rotations with at least one being an away...
